1 BOTTLE OF SANCERRE BLANC LES MONTACHIN AOC, 2023, GITTON PERE ET FILS, LOIRE, FRANCE

A brilliant rendition of 100% Sauvignon Blanc, lovingly crafted from old vines planted on Portlandian limestone in the Loire Valley. In the glass, its bouquet is electrifying—white peach, zesty lime, and Bosc pear, all laced with chalky minerality and a whisper of wet flint. Texturally, it’s a marvel: silk-like on the palate, with crystalline acidity that threads through orchard fruit and touches of saline tension, carrying you to a long, stony finish. Aged on its lees for six months in stainless steel, the wine melds purity with subtle textural complexity, maintaining both energy and poise. This Sancerre is a dream alongside oysters, shellfish, goat cheese, or elegant dishes like trout in a caper butter sauce—truly the embodiment of Loire finesse. Gitton Père & Fils, a family estate in Ménétréol‑sous‑Sancerre founded on respect for tradition and terroir, ferments spontaneously and vinifies each parcel separately. Les Montachins is a testament to their commitment to expressive, site-driven Sauvignon Blanc crafted with precision and grace.

  • Delice de Bourgogne: This decadent cheese was the creation of 18th Century gastronome Brillant Savarin. He married full fat cow's milk to fresh cream, creating a full flavour with a melt in the texture. - 200gr
  • Bleu De Bresse: A cheeese that was first made in the Bresse area of Burgundy, following WWII. Made from whole milk, it is whipped and has a fine, edible coating which is white in and colour and has the aroma of mushrooms. The interior is a smooth and creamy. - 140gr
