At the heart of this landscape lies Poderi Morini, a family-run estate based in the historic hamlet of Oriolo dei Fichi, just outside Faenza. Founded in 1998 by Alessandro Morini, the winery was born from a desire to protect and elevate Romagna’s native grape varieties while remaining deeply connected to the land. The vineyards, modest in scale and carefully tended, sit at low to mid elevations where soils and exposure allow the grapes to ripen slowly and evenly. Every decision in the vineyard and cellar reflects a belief in restraint, patience, and respect for tradition.
