Even more remarkably, the estate has remained in the same family since 1680, making it one of the region’s longest continuously family-owned properties, and has been organic inception. Situated among some of Saint-Émilion’s most celebrated neighbours, Château Coutet draws its character from clay-limestone and sandy soils that have shaped the wines of the Right Bank for centuries.
