Description

2024 Château Belles Cimes

Château Belles Cimes offers a youthful and fruit-driven interpretation of Saint-Émilion. Sourced from vineyards surrounded by some of the appellation’s most celebrated estates. Crafted with the same meticulous attention that has guided the David-Beaulieu family for generations, it captures the elegance and accessibility of Right Bank Bordeaux while remaining firmly rooted in one of the region’s most storied terroirs.

Aromas of fresh red berries, wild cherry, and plum, supported by delicate floral notes and a touch of spice.
The Story
expand_more
Château Coutet, one of Saint-Émilion’s historic estates. The earliest records of the property date back to 1453, when its vineyards appeared in the first register of the Saint-Émilion Jurade. Even more remarkably, the estate has remained in the same family since 1680, making it one of the region’s longest continuously family-owned properties, and has been organic inception. Situated among some of Saint-Émilion’s most celebrated neighbours, Château Coutet draws its character from clay-limestone and sandy soils that have shaped the wines of the Right Bank for centuries. Today, the David-Beaulieu family continues this legacy with a commitment to organic farming and a philosophy that prioritizes elegance, freshness, and a transparent expression of terroir.
Taste
expand_more
The palate is supple and energetic, with vibrant fruit, polished tannins, and a refreshing finish that highlights the wine’s emphasis on elegance and drinkability.
Cellaring Potential

Designed to showcase its fruit in youth, though capable of developing additional complexity over 5–8 years. Expect increased savoury notes and greater textural integration with time.
Food Matching

An excellent companion to roast chicken, grilled pork, duck breast, veal dishes, and mushroom-based preparations. Also a great wine for BBQs.
