Carpineta Fontalpino is a farm and winery owned by the Cresti family. Traces of the winemaking tradition of the company territory already meet at the end of the nineteenth century, but it is in 1967 that Italo, father of Filippo and Gioia, decides to believe in his vocation and to make it a company, with love and devotion. The farm is located in the heart of Tuscany, very close to the splendid Siena. Not far away is the historic hill of Montaperti, in the municipality of Castelnuovo Berardenga, the southern outpost of the Chianti Classico appellation.
