Santalba are a family-run producer who have been working in the region since 1964 with a focus on sustainable farming, really high quality, low-yield grapes from old vines, and elegant oak use (they use a mix of American and French oak).

Good acidity that makes it fresh and a pleasant tannin that gives it good balance and structure. It has body and character, slightly saline. Persistent on the palate and a slightly sweet long finish.

Pairs well with tapa, garlic shrimp, Jamon Iberico, blue fish, seafood, rice dishes and risottos, cured cheese platters, fresh pasta, chicken curry or tikka masala, and Pad Thai.
