1 bottle of Barbera d'Alba "Tulin" DOC, 2021, PELISSERO, PIEDMONT, ITALY

100% Barbera. To the nose it has the classical notes of stewed fruit, raspberry, red blueberry and the sweet airy vein that release the trivalent alcohols. The colour is intense and brilliant ruby red almost bluish violet with a great viscosity. Savoury taste, full, mineral, acid, tannic, wrapping.

1 bottle of Langhe DOC Nebbiolo, 2021, PELISSERO, PIEDMONT, ITALY

100% Nebbiolo from across their vineyard holdings, mostly younger vines, short maceration and a mix of barrique and large barrel aging to preserve freshness. 

1 bottle of Barberesco DOCG Nubiola, 2020, PELISSERO, PIEDMONT, ITALY

100% Nebbiolo. Fermented and macerated in stainless steel with frequent battonage before aging in a mix of 50L oak casks and small barrique. A nose that is classically Barbaresco in its mix of tart cranberry and other red fruit, violets and other floral notes, with a background of herbal brightness. Intense ruby robe. Remarkably soft and silky at the opening, the tannins build up with a few sips to remind you that this is still Nebbiolo.

Pelissero has been winemaking since 1960 using vineyeards that span fourty-two hectares in Langhe, part of the Piedmont region in Italy.  They use only grapes indigenous to the region, that grow on their own estate. It takes passion, commitment to the land and hard work in the vineyards and cellar, to always endeavour to make high qulaity wines, the only way they know how to get real satisfaction. Research in the vineyards and, successively, in the cellar never stops here, and they hope that this will bring about further improvements to their wines.
