The Pasetti Family, Pescara, Abruzzo, Italy
From a little winery called Pasetti, a family run business focusing on native grape varieties in the region of Abruzzo in central Italy. Run by a fifth generation grape growerm the family story of the Pasettis is one of a dream delayed until perfection could be acheived!
The current Pasetti vines are planted among the most idyllic settings we have every come across, as they are located entirely within the Gran Sasso and Monti della Laga National Park, with entirely organic agriculture, and one of the very few wineries to be certified in both.
The Pasetti’s are now more closely connected to the essence of Abruzzo’s terroir than any other producer, focusing entirely on native grape varieties.
We have brought you a wonderful Pecorino, and two Montepulciano d’Abruzzo, both fantastic examples of what can be accomplished with a focus on finding the perfect place to grow.
