100% Sangiovese. Grapes are hand-picked in 9kg crates. Maceration for 12 months in fine to extra-fine grained oak barriques and tonneaux, of which 10% are new. Aromas of rose, violet, redcurrant cherries and juniper berries with a hint of licorice. Juicy on the palate, confirming the red berry fruits on the nose. Fine tannins integrate perfectlywith a nice acidity. Persistent finish with a pleasent, savoury note. Pairs well with anything with tomato sauce and is the natural pair of the Tuscan regional food: Pappa al Pomodoro.

100% Sangiovese. Grapes are hand-picked in 9kg crates. Maceration for 16 months in fine to extra-fine grained oak barriques and tonneaux, of which 20% are new. Brilliant ruby-red colour. Aromas of violet, ripe cherries, earth, oak and a touch of insense. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied, powerful and enriched with rosemary notes. Well-integrated tannnisn , great teture and excellent freshness. Very long finish with a hint of iron. Pairs well with duck, goose and game birds.

In honor of the non profit Californian foundation. Recalling the saying “in the wine there is the time”. 50% Barbera-50% Nebbiolo. Separate vinification for the two varieties with maceration of 10-12 days for Nebbiolo and 25 days for Barbera in stainless steel casks at controlled temperature. Decanted again in steel, then in wood. Aged in small oak barrels for 15-18 months, then in bottle for 10-12 months. Varietal scent and aroma of ripe fruit, blackberry, raspberry and red cherry framing the slight fragrance of vanilla. Open, full-bodied, velvety and all-embracing. The savoury teste and elegance of the two varietals combine excellently and for pleasantness and an unforgettable taste. Meat, cheese, pork, game and matured cheese.
