Giuseppe Castiglioni bought a single hectare of vineyard in Tuscany in 1974. His dream was to make elegant and rich wines from the native Sangiovese grapes among others. His son would convert the estate to organic viticulture in 1988. The estate now spans over 100 hectares of vineyards with their commitment to continue creating extraordinary wines.

Grapes harvested the first week of September. Macerations in small cement and stainless steel vats.

A waxy, smooth feel rounds up the light and elegant body. The blend of Vermentino and Viognier offers a pleasing combination of fragrant, floral aromatics and stone fruit flavours with a crisp, mineral-driven palate with a lingering finish of fresh almond bitterness.
