Description
Respecting what nature offers, they cultivate according to tradition with sapling vines. They don not irrigate, following the rhythms of nature and letting the vines find their own balance. They have always kept the sacredness of the harvest unchanged. Grapes are collected by hand with the rituality of a gesture handed down by history. Their wines contain the essence of the land, the sounds of nature and the intensity of the colours of Sicily. Each Gulfi wine hides a precise personality, capable of awakening all our senses.
The grapes are harvested after midSeptember. Grapes are then subject to extended maceration with the skins. After malolactic fermentation, the wine is decanted into small 500-litre barrels, where it remains for two years. Wine is then in bottle for at least one year.
